Was reading through the MBA blogs and was wondering how easy it would be if all the information you are looking for is available in one search in google. But that is not now it works, you need to sift through plethora of content before you can zero in on the one that you are looking for. Maybe, I am dumb and do not provide the clear search criteria and this should not be a deterrent factor because, I am an user and all users would have the same approach for the searches. This opens up a whole new approach. Google can you do this?
It has been my lifetime ambition to own a startup company and be successful and so far I do know even know what to start. I have couple of ideas one of them could be to provide a resume screening service. Basically, this service is for the plethora of consulting firms across the country, to provide them with technical screening of the candidates as well as matching the resume with the requirements from the client. Often, times the frustration on the part of the client is that the consulting company do not understand the specific requirement unique to the hiring company and submit irrelevant candidates. This leads to the frustration of the hiring manager and the consulting companies. My plan was to provide a via-media to screen the resume and provide as much appropriate candidates as possible, thereby the client would receive only proper candidates suitable for the job. I tried to work through this but was not successful.
Another was to import stuff from abroad and sell through e-bay but this did not work because there was a question of investment that needs to be raised. The classic example was the dog tag debacle.
