Well, if you guys out there remember it was Gandhi's birthday yesterday(10/02). Gandhi was one of the all-time greats. Martin Luther was influenced by Gandhi's non-cooperation and ahimsa principles. He was a remarkable man, otherwise how would he admit to the sins he did when he was a young and wrote about them in his book.
He had this aura behind him that influenced the biggest colonialists(British) to give freedom to India. We need to remember him not only for the independence that he brought to India but the way he did and the he influenced others to follow his priniciple. No matter what the time, age or place his principles yield fruit. Personally, I do not see eye to eye with all his principles but most of them I do.
In weekend, we had our first Garage sale and got rid of some items and I still believe this is great. As always I was a believer in "One man's junk is other man's treasure". Therefore, we got rid of some and we got some junk for others. I am trying to startup meditation but could not even start. Anyway, this will be ongoing and someday I will do it.
I was looking over Business week's article on Ron Popeil and was amazed at his creativity and salesmanship. It is rare to find such a combination and he did it. These are some of the inspiring stories I love read, although someday mine would be there too.
From now on I would try to post some sites that impressed me. The first one the list is LinkedIn. Although, I am new to this network of people and yet to understand the full capabilities, already find that this is going to grow and will help to link up the people.
