Ever started wondering about your existence, well I do most of the time but so far could not come to any concrete conclusion. But here are some insights. When you compare yourself to the city you are somebody with a number to go with and an address that you live in. A mere statistic. Compare this to your position within this entire world and the speck will be even smaller. The mind boggling thing is when you compare yourself against this whole universe and you are completely inconspicuous. That being said, you can make a difference like Mother Theresa and Mahatma Gandhi. These are similar to you but their legacy lives on and they pervade everywhere and that is the kind of presence that need to happen for every human being. Unfortunately, we never realize that we have this potential and lose track of why we are born by the mundane things in life. Worrying about when we get rich or when we get that vehicle or when I can have that girl. These are needed but are not required. You do need some motivation in life otherwise it will be dull. These worldly pleasures are lucrative in the short term and we pursue them. When we get old we realize that we wasted our entire life in pursuit of these things and now you do not have enough time achieve the purpose of your existence and perish forever.

Last night attended one Kannda get together and met Ramesh Arvind, kannada actor. Listened some very good Kannada songs and the stand up comedy. The artists were good but the show was lacking the warmth probably because of the way it was organized. But the bottom line was that it was organized for the benefit of uneducated children in Karnataka. These bonzos who organized the program took a big auditorium and could not justify why they did it.
